Superintendent's Letter - Fall '24

Dr. Steve Smith, Superintendent | Benton Grade School

As the seasons change, we are reminded that growth, progress, and community spirit continue to define our school.

Dear Benton Grade School Community,

It is with great pride that I welcome you to the Fall issue of Connections47, Benton Grade School’s official quarterly magazine. As the seasons change, we are reminded that growth, progress, and community spirit continue to define our school, and this issue is a celebration of just that.

In this issue, we are excited to showcase the stories of our talented and hardworking students—young individuals who exemplify dedication, creativity, and perseverance. These students are the heart of Benton Grade School, and their accomplishments serve as a reminder of why we do what we do every day.

You’ll also meet some of the new faces joining our administration and teaching staff. These educators bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas, all while embracing the values and traditions that make our school so special. Their commitment to fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for every student is truly inspiring.

Of course, no issue of Connections47 would be complete without highlighting the strong sense of community pride that has always been a cornerstone of our school. Benton Grade School’s focus on value-driven education, along with the unwavering support from our families, staff, and community, continues to create a positive and dynamic learning environment.

We are proud to share these stories with you, and we hope that Connections47 serves as a reflection of the incredible growth and progress happening in our district. As we move forward, we remain committed to sharing the journey of our school with the community that supports us every step of the way.

Thank you for being part of our Benton Grade School family. Together, we are shaping the future, and I couldn’t be prouder of all we have accomplished.

Best regards,

Dr. Steve Smith
Superintendent, Benton Grade School
